1. What is the difference between the Light-domeŽ and the
FinaleŽ? Back to Top
|
The Light-dome
has an X-member construction. A rounded top is better in the wind than a flat
front. The finale has a central ridge member for the top and three sets of
rafters. The difference is in the frame structure. There are no PVC parts in the
frame structure.
|
2. Are the curtains and
material the same on both canopies?
|
All the curtains have a center zipper in them to make it easier to roll up
the curtains by yourself.
The only options with the curtains is to substitute a curtain with a
center door, Creative-Light CurtainŽ or a curtain with vents.
There is a minimum charge to substitute a curtain with center zipper for the others.
All the vinyl is the same for all the canopies.
|
| 3. Which canopy is easier to setup?
|
Both canopies are easy to set up. The Light-DomeŽ has fewer pieces and weighs a few pounds less.
The parts are interchangeable in the Light-DomeŽ which makes it easier.
Both canopies are set up at chest level.
There is no lifting the frame up from the ground to place the legs under.
|
| 4. Do you put a skylight in your tops?
|
At one time we had skylights in the tops, but we have changed our material so there is no need for skylights or the extra cost.
|
| 5. If I need to replace a part who do I order it from and how fast can I receive it?
|
All the parts are manufactured here in Ocala, FL. If your order is placed by noon it will go out by UPS within 24 hours. Orders shipped 3rd day, 2nd day or overnight may be placed by 2:00p.m. that same day.
|
| 6. I would like to use my canopy indoors, what do you suggest?
|
You may use either canopy indoors and even leave the top frame structure off.
Because the frame telescopes you may adjust the frame size by sliding the tube down to the appropriate size.
We sell indoor curtains that are fire retardant and come in a variety of colors with bottom poles or use the vinyl curtains that come with your canopy.
|
| 7. How long will it take to receive my canopy order?
|
We like to send out the orders within 48 hours. Sometimes though we have a turnaround time. Be sure to give yourself at least a two-three week lead-time for set up and any shipping damage that might occur.
|
| 8. I am undecided if I want an awning on my canopy?
|
Our canopies do not come with zippers to attach an awning to.
If you are not sure which size the 30", 4' or the Rear Awning you would like, order just
the zippers. You may order up to 4 zippers. Credit will be given when you
order the rest of the awning later
|
| 9. What is the longest frame piece?
|
The longest frame piece is 5' 3".
|
| 10. Are vents necessary in a canopy?
|
Vents are an option, not a necessity. We do offer vents in the FinaleŽ canopy only. When opening the vents at the lower level, remember you will not be able to reach the vents to close them unless you have a ladder.
In inclement weather closing the vents is a must.
|
| 11. I understand that you have switched to rivets in the corners, how are they holding up?
|
When the company went to cast pieces they were attached with rivets. However in the beginning they were not strong enough so that has been changed to a stronger rivet. Anyone who has problems with them are able to have them updated without charge.
|
| 12. How can I make my canopy into a 10' x 15' for indoors?
|
You may add another large eave member to increase the length.
|
| 13. How much weight can you hang on the roll-up display walls?
|
We suggest you use at least a long or extra long curtain hook for hanging. The larger or heavier the piece of work, the more hooks. Minimum two hooks per piece. As long as the weight is evenly distributed, weight should not be a problem.
The strongest area is in the corner of the canopy nearest the legs.
|
| 14. Are stabilizing bars necessary?
|
We have been designing canopies for 25 years and have just recently added these bars. The reason they have become an accessory for this company is there are less shows that allow you to stake into the ground. The bars help to keep your canopy square when using weights.
|
| 15. How much weight do you recommend for each corner of the canopy?
|
Suggested weight is at least 38 lbs per corner. Do not hang the weights on the canopy in mid air. Try to place the weight on the foot to keep the canopy from moving around. |
| 16. How do I roll up a 10' side by myself?
|
All sides have a center zipper so there is no need for a roller or pole to
help you roll up the sides. Separate the zipper and roll up half of
the side. |
| 17. How I completely zip my canopy closed?
|
The easiest way to completely zip your canopy closed is to leave (1) of the
CENTER zippers unzipped until you have zipped the remainder center and
corner zippers.
Now go back and zip that (1) center zipper closed. |
| 18.
Do you have a conversion from 10' x 15'
to a 10' x 10'?
|
We offer a 10' x 15' FinaleŽ with a conversion
kit to a 10' x 10''. It is not cost effective to convert a 10' x 10'
to a 10' x 15' unless you are doing a lot of shows. |
